Our Assistant Principal

I am honored to join the High Pointe Family this year as Assistant Principal after being a proud Cedar Hill Longhorn for seven years. I began my career in education believing that all children deserve the opportunity to experience success in life and learning throughout their K-12 years and beyond. Over the last 16 years, I have worked as a teacher, department head, instructional coach, and currently the Assistant Principal of the High Pointe Longhorns!

I am a product of the Temple ISD school system where I graduated as the first African American Valedictorian and served in this community for several years. I am currently working towards a Ph.D in Educational Administration at the University of North Texas and previously obtained my master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Chicago and John Hopkins University respectively.

I am looking forward to an amazing year, and I am driven by our committed faculty and staff members as well as by the passion of our scholars.
